CV Luis Ignacio Sánchez

CV

My professional experience spans three major areas: history, photography, and, digital marketing (with a focus on SEO and B2B).

🧠 Experience as an SEO Specialist

I began my journey into digital marketing—and more specifically, search engine optimization (SEO)—out of a need to promote my work as a photographer and video producer.

After completing several courses and drawing on the writing experience I had developed as a historian, I secured various roles that combined both skill sets: I worked as an SEO content writer for autosblogmexico.com and for the Spanish branch of the French company Selectra.

I was also hired to launch several SEO-optimized websites.

Later, in 2021, I joined Valtech as a Senior SEO Analyst, thanks to my SEO expertise, client management skills, and experience leading teams.

In April 2022, I was promoted within the same company to the role of SEO Specialist, expanding my responsibilities to include administrative, financial, and strategic oversight of SEO projects acquired by the firm.

Feel free to view my LinkedIn profile for more details.

📚 Experience as a Historian

As a professional historian, I have a substantial body of academic and scientific work.

Throughout my undergraduate, master’s, and doctoral studies, I specialized in Mexican history, with a focus on the political and military aspects of the Porfiriato period. This hasn’t prevented me from exploring other historical avenues.

My experience in academic research and writing is extensive, enabling me to take on any project requiring the critical, analytical, and reflective skills inherent to social scientists.

My passion for history also led me to create a blog titled Facetas Históricas, where I share academically oriented historical texts in a more concise format. These writings are currently available in the corresponding section of this website.

I’ve also had the opportunity to contribute to the blog of the Hispanic American Historical Review, where several of my articles are published.

Further down this page, you’ll find a list of academic works I’ve authored or contributed to.

📸 Experience as a Photography Professional

My video/photography career began when I won a national contest sponsored by Canon Mexicana. The equipment I received as a prize, along with the recognition of my talent, marked the start of my journey in this beautiful yet demanding field.

I went on to specialize in social event photography, particularly weddings and quinceañeras.

In terms of video production, using DSLR cameras and a drone, I created promotional and tourism-focused content for both private enterprises and public administrations.

The most notable example is the promotional tourism video I produced for the local government of Teziutlán, Puebla.
